This page explains how to permanently delete your Appress account (used with the "Appress" mobile app, package com.appress.app) and all data associated with it.
How to delete your account
Option A — In-app (recommended)
1. Open the Appress app on your device.
2. Sign in if you are not already signed in.
3. Tap "Account" in the bottom-right corner.
5. Tap "Delete my account" and confirm.
Your account, profile information, and apps you created will be deleted immediately.
Option B — By email
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email.
What data is deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, phone)
- Mobile apps you created with Appress and their configurations
- Push notification subscriptions and FCM device tokens
- Login sessions and authentication cookies
What data is retained
- Anonymized billing records required for tax/legal purposes — retained for the period required by applicable law (typically up to 7 years).
- Server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) — retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention, then auto-purged.
